Are you denigrating the US Open too? You do know that it's possible to like both Euro-sports and American ones? Granted the US Open is only the third best tennis tournament, but it can get spicy.

Do not put the words "golf" and "tennis" in the same sentence unless you are extolling the virtues of golf. Example: "Golf is a sport in much the same way tennis isn't."

Make no mistake, where golf is concerned I will extoll to the rafters. This sometimes gets in trouble. People say, "How can you watch golf? It's so boring." To which I reply, "Not at all you silly twit. Golf is just as exciting as tennis."
