Surly Dave, I can TOTALLY believe that Miller would sponsor this event. But I think that they are probably more economically than politically driven. Companies are generally always going to do whatever will result in the most profit. I bet some number-cruncher ran through a few scenarios and found out that by supporting this rally, they could gain more new customers than they would lose.
